My name is Misty Meyer owner of Miss M Photography. I am a self-taught photographer living in rural Ohio with my husband, our two beautiful children, and our two dogs, Lily and Jake, along with a stray kitten named Luna that has adopted our family. Surrounding our little house in the country is nothing but cornfields, small family-owned farms, and tractors as far as the eye can see.

Much of what you will find in my shop are the little slices of my everyday life. With my camera, I have been able to capture those little moments and the simple things that surround me.

With each photograph, I feel like I am sharing a piece of me. Each photograph represents how I see the world. I am not a complicated person. I love the smell of rain, hearing my son's infectious laugh, the taste of fresh tomatoes from the garden, and the first snowfall of the season. Those are the things that make me happy. My photography is not complicated. My hope is that it evokes a special memory in someone or reminds them of the everyday beauty that surrounds all of us, but we are often too busy to really see. I love the thought that a little bit of me may become part of someone else's home and their lives. My life was forever changed when I picked up my first camera. It is a love affair like no other and I will never see the world the same again.
